Fed up with police brutality?

Do something about it.

Over 50 have joined this votest.

The deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown expose major flaws in our law enforcement and criminal justice systems that need to be changed. Policy makers haven’t done enough to enforce accountability or address the weak laws that allow police brutality to continue, but voters can take preemptive action.

Voter participation matters. Attorneys general, judges, and sheriffs are elected positions in most states. Where they are not elected, they are usually appointed by politicians who are. These individuals dramatically influence our criminal justice system, so it is imperative they act in the interest of our community.

Register. Pledge. Prepare to act.

What's a votest? A pledge to actually do something.

This is more than a petition. A votest is a rallying point for people who are ready to take action on issues they care about. Why wait for an election? We can flex our collective voting potential around important issues at any time. When people participate in our political system, laws and communities can change. Police brutality is an issue that currently demands our attention and immediate action. Get registered and get involved. If you are already registered, simply pledge to take action.
